Myspace, Facebook, and Friendster are just one of the few social networking websites that I know and are famous. What do you think of these kind of websites.

I say this are great sites where you could get to meet people from other countries. And at the same time, we could still continue communicating with our friends and families through the pictures, videos, or simple messages.

I have only myspace and I really don't have much time for these kind of activity. I mean I don't have any negative points for these sites but it just don't attract to my senses. I better play video games rather than looking for people in the net. I use my email to talk with my friends or families that are far my place. If they wanted some pictures of, I could just attach them to the emails.

I think myspace is full of phishers and it drives me insane, I'm ready to drop my account there and teach my non geek friends there are other things that MS. Facebook is a tad better, a little more secure but I still wont get my hopes up, and its been well over a year or two since I have signed into friendster, not even sure I remember the password or not.

Most of them are populated by people who aren't on a similar wavelength with what my goals are. Not to mention the horrendous pages with nauseating graphics, blaring music and animated crap all over the place and "quiz results". I mean who cares what "anti-care bear" someone is? really now. I have one to keep in touch with my college and high school friends, but thats about all I do with it. Mine is sensibly coded to have a nice background, easy to read colors and one song that plays if you tell it to.

I think the best thing is when someone goes look at my new layout, and its full of so many layers of pure doodoo, and then they don't realize where spyware comes from (the sites that end up coding the stuff for them). You would not believe me if I told you in the past month alone, how many people have found out the hard way the ads they have on their sites are full of warez.

I have a MySpace, Bebo and Facebook profile. I used to use Zorpia, but I lost interest in that pretty fast. I rarely use my MySpace profile but I always use my Bebo. I just signed up for Facebook and so far I love it.

Haha, I don't use any of those. I prefer to stalk my friends through long term plans such as *gasp* holiday cards and birthday e-mails, and reunions. The layout/warez thing is so true. I don't go to sites I don't trust why would I want to visit some random idiots page to not only get blinded by blinking glittery text and songs/videos but get spyware as an added bonus.

That's the problem with social networks nowadays, they have extras that are bad. I just have a private account wherein only friends could see me. I just use it for me to get updated with what's happening with my friends who have also an account in that networking site.

The only site that I like is Facebook. The others, myspace being the worst, are just too annoying. Too much spam, too much 'adult stuff', too much loud music and so on.

But Facebook is pretty tame and low key by it's side.

I don't have any accounts on these websites for they are not worth my time. Its better to meet people in clubs for I already know what they really look like and how they act.

Social networking is the grouping of individuals into specific groups, like small rural communities or a neighborhood subdivision, if you will. Although social networking is possible in person, especially in the workplace, universities, and high schools, it is most popular online. This is because unlike most high schools, colleges, or workplaces, the internet is filled with millions of individuals who are looking to meet other people, to gather and share first-hand information and experiences about cooking, golfing, gardening, developing friendships or professional alliances, finding employment, business-to-business marketing and even groups sharing information about the end of the Mayan calendar and the Great Shift to arrive December 21-2012. The topics and interests are as varied and rich as the story of our world.
