I would like to introduce you to, and invite you to come by and check out North Americas newest voice for Professional Mobile Entertainers such as yourself...C.A.P.M.E.

The acronym "C.A.P.M.E." stands for The Canadian/American Alliance of Professional Mobile Entertainers. With this change of name, we have changed our focus from being primarily an singular association with a focus only on DJ and KJ entertainers, to that of being a diverse Association representing a variety of Professional Mobile Entertainers which include Disc Jockeys, Karaoke Entertainers, Professional and Amateur Hypnotists and Comedians as well as Live Entertainers.

As part of our new Association Mandate we will be striving to work together in cooperation with other Canadian and American National & Regional Disc Jockey Associations to foster a true sense of cooperation between associations and hopefully by working together these associations will be able to more effectively address issues important to Mobile Disc Jockeys today and in the future.

C.A.P.M.E. currently provides the following services and resources to current and potential members and as well we define our differences from other asscociations as detailed below;

1.) Discussion forums where a variety of topics relevant to today's Professional Entertainer may be openly discussed.

2.) Live Chats where members can meet online and exchange ideas, tips and suggestions on operating a successful Professional Mobile Entertainment business.

3.) A online Directory where all C.A.P.M.E. members who have been verified, and are compliant with our Membership Qualifications and Requirements, are listed for potential clients to locate the member service for their upcoming event.

4.) Event/Function Leads from potential clients in your area.

5.) Discounts on web site hosting. In many cases our hosting rates are 50% less than that offered by many DJ Directory or Discussion related sites.

6.) Members can have a membername@capme.com or membername@capme.org Email Address for a small one-time set-up fee. The email address is then the members to use for as long as they are a current C.A.P.M.E. member.

8.) In 2004, Canadian Members of C.A.P.M.E. will be able to receive their A.V.L.A. licenses at just slightly above C.A.P.M.E. cost.

9.) All C.A.P.M.E. Members qualify for our Membership Rewards Program. At least 4 times a year, C.A.P.M.E. will have prizes from suppliers that we will give away to a lucky member. C.A.P.M.E. is an Association which values the input of all of its members. C.A.P.M.E. is built upon the strength, cooperation, input and direction of the membership as a whole. Not by 1 or 2 "key" individuals. The C.A.P.M.E. Executive is in place to take their direction from the members, and not to tell members what they can or cannot do within the association.

The C.A.P.M.E. Executive will be initially formed by Appointments made by the Association CEO. But as soon as possible thereafter, formal elections will be held to put into place a Executive who will work FOR the membership, and is chosen by the membership.
