Technics 1200M3D Power Problem

Howdy, seems as though this hasn't been covered before, which makes me
worry a bit.

A friend of mine was recently using the turntable when it suddenly lost
power, and now it won't turn on. Don't think he did anything to damage
it. I can only assume a fuse blew, but don't know where to find it, or
if there even IS a fuse to blow (is there?). And I'm certainly not
going to open this thing myself unless I know exactly what I'm supposed
to do.

Anyone know what the problem could be... or more importantly, how much
it might cost to repair?

erland
