I know some turntables 8+ years and still function fine. I'm sure

I thought I was going to impress the group saying that I've had my 1210's
for 14 years. Then I saw your reply. Bought mine new in 1991 in Japan. A few years back I had to replace a tonearm on one of them. My son who was a very young toddler at the time decided he wanted to funk around with it and somehow bent it by forcing it out of the locked position. On the other turntable I replace the cables because I wasn't getting any output on the left channel.
