Technics SLDZ-1200 - a CD vs. Vinyl breakthrough?

Hi all, one month ago i have read about a DJ-CDplayer by Technics
which is supplied with an authentic turntable platter to scratch and many many features which beat the current CD-player boss Pionner CDJ1000mk2.
Though i´m fascinated of this tool i´m afraid the vinyl becomes more rudundant in our DJ-World. MP3 and CD`s have a better quality, are easy to transport and can be shared more easily. And with this teriffic player you can scratch and backspin everything 99,9 % (without spoiling any record or cartridges), apply cool effects on your output and many stuff more....

watch a pic
official site

how do you think bout that?

That looks pretty sweet. Do you use one or 2 players when you scratch?

It does look and seem pretty sweet, I played with one for about 20 minutes in a store and thought it was pretty nifty - but it didn't really wow me. Since then I think some better options have come about - I have heard the Numark CDX are alright for a full sized platter CDJ and may be a tad better than the Technics. Also some traditional turntables with Final Scratch, Serato Scratch Live or similar could be worth a look.
