Traktor 3 Sound Card Question
Hello,
I'm interested in purchasin Traktor, but i'm going to need a USB sound card so that i can run it through my mixer. I was wondring if somebody could tell me what i NEED as far as a sound card is concerned? I don't need a heavy duty midi controller/recorder...all i want to do is run two (eventually possibly 4) decks from traktor into seperate channels on my mixer where i will be messing w/ EQ/mixing/etc. Will a simple 5.1 channel usb external sound card work? and then i can just use a mini-rca splitter to plug into my mixer? Thanks! Adam |

In short. Yes. I ran Traktor 2 with a Gigaport USB 7.1 sound card myself for months without any problems. I would strongly advise you to get a card with a decent ASIO driver, because the latency with any other kind of driver is too big for slick mixing. |
