type of music

Does any-one know the actual name for the type of music we know as oompah.
The thigh slapping, short trousers, braces music, played at beer festivals
in Austria etc. No funny answers, this is serious.

I don't know how close I am but you could Google guggemusik, which is, I
believe Swiss Carnival music, but could be heading in the right direction.
