techhouse reworking with elements of the original vocal integrated into the
production. Flipside is a similar styled rework of Pink Floyd's "Shine On

AC-DC "Have A Drink On Me 2004" White FRA 12 - chunky tech-house reworking
that is based around the guitar riff of this classic hard rock track. No
vocals, just a driving instrumental production circulating as Hard Rock
Project, catalog number HRP001

Black Eyed Peas "Getting Retarded" White ENG 12 - chunky breakbeat-tinged
mix circulating as Black Eyed bootleg, catalog Number FLY004.

Brothers In Rhythm "Forever & A Day" White ENG 12 - Hoxton Whores on the mix
for this reworking of this classic Brothers in Rhythm production. Circulates
as HW016.

Digital Underground "The Humpty Dance 2004" White USA 12 - bootleg mix with
full vocal circulating as "Bumpty Pants". Catalog Number BT02. Dubby house
reworking with hooks of the original elements worked in. Also includes the
original version on the flip.

Disco Darlings "It's A Privelege" White ENG 12 - Disco Darlings on the mix
taking a well-known loop as the basis for this instrumental disco-tinged
house production. Circulates as DARLINGPROMO3

Doobie Brothers "Long Train Running 2004" White ENG 12 - Circulating as DB
"Longtime", catalog number LONGTIME, this is a chunky full vocal house
reworking of the classic Doobie Brothers cut.

Hudson People "Trip To You 2004" White ENG 12 - Ashley Beedle on the mix of
this disco-era production, with a reworking by him of Little Richard "The
Rill Thing" on the flip. Circulates as Ghetto Defendant, catalog number
GDEF002.

Jaydee "Plastic Dreams 2004" White ENG 12 - circulates as Romantica, catalog
number is WAX03, a breakbeat-tinged reworking with a ragga vocal added to
the famous "Detroit Shuffle"

Michael Jackson "Bad 2004" White GER 12 - circulates as FREAK002, a deep,
squelchy house production with hooks of Michael's vocal and instrumental
samples worked into the production. Flipside is a similar-styled reworking
of "Wanna Be Startin Somethin."

John Lennon "Shine 2004" White FRA 12 - chunky tech house reworking in a
Junior Jack "Stupidisco" style of this mid-70s Lennon single. Circulates as
The Lovefreekz, catalog number KINGO6.

Lil Kim "Jump Off 2004" White ENG 12 - mashup that places Lil Kim's "Jump
Off" vocal into a chunky house production by Jay J. Circilates as LILJAY.

Madonna "Like A Prayer 2004" White ENG 12 - Sucker DJs looping up hooks of
the Madonna classic on this new release circulating as MOUCHE002. Flipside
is (we think) and original production "Unique By Origin".

Girogio Moroder "The Chase 2004" White USA 12 - Dmitri From Paris remix of
this classic electrodisco cut, flipside is his remix of Dan Hartman's
"Relight My Fire" in a classic disco house style. Catalog Number is BRH017.

Prince "Kiss 2004" White USA 12 - Funky deeper tech-tinged house reworking
of the classic Prince track with elements of the original vocal and
instrumentation worked into the production. Circulates as COW002

Rage Against The Machine "Killing In The Name 2004" White FRA 12 - DJ Flex
and Sandy W in the mix on this massive French tech house reworking of the
instrumental line with the guitar riffs in full effect. Spectacular bootleg
mix for fans of the bigroom pump. Circulates as Metal Fusion, catalog number
is EDP002.

Siouxsie Sioux "Happy House 2004" Azuli ENG 12 - SFB on the mix for this
semi-legit rework of the classic Siouxsie Sioux release in their trademark
tech-tinged style.

Martin Solveig vs Stonebridge "High On Rockin Music" White ENG 12 - mashup
that takes the Solveig instrumental and places the Stonebridge vocal over
the top. Circulates as ROCK01.

Unknown "Big Les vs The Young Punx" White ENG 12 Bootleg - electrohouse
reworking of the theme used by Nike for the Euro 2004 Championships.
Circulates as SKEEPUNKX01.

Danny Tenaglia "Music is The Answer 2004" White ENG 12 -circulates as
Varisuvia Music, Slacker remix in a techy prog style with the vocal warmped
and tweaked. Circulates as ANSWER1.

War "Galaxy 2004" White USA 12 - chunky house mix with full oringal vocal,
flipside is reworking of Macho "Not Tonight 2004".

Wings "Coming Up 2004" White ENG 12 - from the Playable Music series
(PLAY015) of bootlegs, a chunky house reworking by Lost Vegas of this
classic by Wings, with hooks of the vocal and original instrumentation
worked into the production.

House

Algo Mass "Just A Dream" Stop & Go ITA 12 - the synth hook from Depeche Mode
"Personal Jesus" forms the basis for this solid Italian house production
with a hooky spoken female vocal worked into the blend. Two mixes, one with
a more tribal-oriented edge.

Jocelyn Brown "Gipsy Rhythm 2004" Airplane ITA 12 Part 2 - Second set of
remixes for 2004 on this classic house production from the legendary Jocelyn
Brown. On this edition there are a wide array of remix styles, from the
dark, tribal-influenced sound of Dr Kucho and Chus & Penn, to a smooth,
disco-flavoured production from T&F Moltosugo and a techier, dubbier
interpretation from Luca Cassani.

Stephanie Cooke "Holding On To Your Love" King Street USA 12 - Seductive
mid-tempo house production featuring Ms. Cooke's exquisite vocal talents
ably supported by smooth rhythm lines and solid house and live instrumental
orchestration that makes this track perfect for the more intimate rooms,

The Club Punks "Zumba" Apple Jaxx ENG 12 - Peter Presta on this mix for this
dark, driving tribal house production that uses a famous male vocal chant
integrated into an energetic blend of aggressive rhythm lines and hooky
tribal house synth orchestrations. Two mixes included.

Danzel "Pump It Up" Ultra USA 12 Part 2 - Second set of remixes on this
cover of Black And White Brothers, featuring a solid remix by Funky
Junction, the dub of which uses hooks from the synth line of a classic Black
Box track. Also features the drum-heavy "Crowd Mix" which is the most tribal
of the productions.

Deep Dive Corp f/Inaya Day "Deep Heart" Guajira GER 12 - Ms Inaya Day seems
to be everywhere these days and here she is again providing the vocals on
this deeper, smoother house production featuring a solid remix from
Christian Hornbustle who showcases Inaya's seductive vocal with a smooth
house orchestration that has a hint of tribal influence. The Sura remix on
the flip is a funkier affair that will work perfectly in smaller rooms.

DJ Flex f/Shawnee Taylor "Lonely" Subliminal USA 12 - More hard-hitting tech
house from the Subliminal camp as DJ Flex creates an aggressive, energetic
electrified production that works nicely with the hooky vocals from Ms.
Taylor. Includes a dub version on the flip.

DJ Joe K "Porto Seguro" Congos FRA 12 - For the fans of the drum this
release is heavenly. Two solid tribal productions with congas ablaze, bass
kicks in full throttle and dark synth hooks and vocal samples worked into
the production. One of the best pure tribal productions we have heard in the
past several months.

Eday "I'm Addicted" *69 USA 12 - First of two 69 releases for this week and
this one features a solid vocal performance from Ms. Eday over a driving
dark tribal tinged production as only the Rauhofer label can provide. Remix
on the flip from Airmale thickens the synthwork and gives the track a bit
more of an energy boost to the overall production.

Esthero "OG Bitch" Reprise USA 2x12 and C5 - Big pop radio track gets the
full club rework here with a solid bigroom production from Orange Factory
and a chunky, slightly techy rworking by Bill Hamel while Smitty goes for a
funkier, chunkier mid-tempo orchestration. All feature Esthero's hooky
rap-based vocal performance.

Jasper Street Company "Got Me Going 2004" Basement Boys ENG 12 - Scotty K
providing the remix for 2004 on this classic vocal house production,
preserving the inspirational feel of the original vocals while setting them
in a contemporary garage-influenced house orchestration.

Tom Jones "She's A Lady 2004" ZYX GER 12 - Wales' biggest export from the
1970s getting the remix update for 2004 with a solid disco-tinges house
production from Funkstar Deluxe and energetic, NRG influenced remixes by DJ
Wave and Casino. All mixes base themselves around the famous vocal.

Los Hombres Invisibles "Let It Happen" White GER 12 - Seductive summertime
house production with a seductive female vocal over a smooth, flowing
instrumentation perfect for the late summer poolside or the smaller, more
intimate rooms.

Mambana "Libre 2004" Casa Rosso GER 12 - New 2004 remixes on this classic
Latin house production with Sobek providing a smooth, sun-drenched mid-tempo
house production that preserves the Latin feel of the original perfectly. On
the flip, Syke & Sugarstar transform the production into a chunky tech house
track with the vocal chopped up and manipulated to fit the darker, more
acidic feel of the production.

Christina Milian "Whatever U Want" Island USA 2x12 - Followp to the massive
"Dip It Low" with Ms Milian getting the remix treatment to make the track
accessible to a wide variety of floors. JJ Flores whips up two solid
mid-tempo house produticons with more than a touch of disco influence worked
into the production. Other mixes come from Kriya, Jack Elliot and DJ Cipha
in similarly funky mid-120s tempo productions.

Rob Mirage "Forever" Loop 128 SPA 12 - Midnight Society on the mix for this
solid tribal house production featuring a hypnotic vocal sample over a
driving rhythm line and dark, infections synth washes. Original version is a
bit more on the progressive side of the production scale, with a deeper,
more seductive orchestration to the production

Enzo Mori & Stephan Clark "Got The Feel" Royal Flush FRA 12 - Massive vocal
tech house monster from France here with a huge diva vocal ably supported by
aggressive bigroom rhythm lines and driving, slightly acidic synth
orchestrations in an Antoine Clamaran-oriented production. Two solid mixes.

Narcotic Thrust "I Like It" Full House FRA 12 - DJ Sender with an exclusive
France-only remix of one of the big anthems of 2004. Solid French tech house
interpretation with driving rhythms and sharp, energetic synth
orchestrations that are blended perfectly with the full vocals. Release also
includes the Sinewave Surfers mix and the original vocal mix.

Alex Neri "House Track" Full House FRA 12 - Antoine Clamaran on the mix for
this chunky tech house monster that was originally out in Italy back in
June. Driving rhythm lines, energetic synth orchestrations and dramatic
buildups the order for the day on this solid instrumental production.

Eric Prydz "Call On Me" Data ENG 12 and C5 - That Steve Winwood sampling
bootleg from the spring now gets its full commercial release on the Data
label. One of the essential tracks of Ibiza 2004, this uses vocal samples
from the late-80s hit "Valerie" and integrates them into a driving tech
house production that holds nothing back. Also includes a trance-tinged
reworking from Filterheads that gives the track an entirely different
perspective but maintains the massive energy and drive of the original.

Seduction "Feel Brand New" Waako USA 2x12 - Resurrection of the late-80s act
with a monster club production featuring solid bigroom mixes from Mike Cruz,
Junior Vasquez and Twisted Dee that work perfectly with the solid,
inspirational female vocals. Deeper, funkier remixes come from JJ and Corbo
for the smoother floors that like a more classical house production.

Size Queen "Tribal Madness" *69 USA 12 - The second *69 release this week is
an energetic tribal-laced monster with hooky spoken male vocals, sharper
synth hooks and chunky rhythm lines that break down to an infections
breakbeat pattern for a short period. Airmale Remix on the flip gives the
track the full bigroom effect.

Utada "Devil Inside" Island USA 2x12 and C5 - First this is NOT a cover of
INXS. Rather this is a solid new female vocal production ably remolded into
dark, driving bigroom productions with the mixes coming from Richard Vission
in a driving techy electrohouse interpretation and Scumfrog in his trademark
dark, tribal-tinged orchestration.

Armand van Helden "My My My" Southern Fried ENG 12 Part 1, Part 2 and C5 -
The followup to the international monster that was "Hear My Name" now
arrives and this time Armand goes back to a funky discohouse style that
helped to make this one of the anthems of Ibiza 2004. Hooky, inspirational
vocal supported by chunky rhythm lines and energetic disco-tinged
synthlines. Disc 1 also features a deeper, smoother reworking by Ashley
Beedle while disc 2 features the excellent, slightly progressive reworking
by Cagedbaby a lighter Latin-influenced remix by We Deliver and a breakbeat
rework from Deekline and Wizard. CD-Maxi has all.

Various "Bangin 3 EP" Tommy Boy USA 2x12 - Tommy Boy releasing a limited
vinyl sampler of some of the highlights from the third installment in their
Bangin compilation series. This vinyl features cuts from Anthony Acid,
Dania, Ceevox and Rosabel, all geared toward the circuit-influenced bigroom
floors who like their vocals massive, their rhythm lines energetic and their
synthwork aggressive. Of special note is the DJ Escape mix of Ceevox'
"Wired" which is an excellent vocal tour de force.

Trance & Progressive

Atlantic Wave "Kataklisma" Red Alert ITA 12 - hooks from Felix "Don't You
Want My Love" are the key to this driving bigroom trance production with
massive waves of energetic synthwork, aggressive rhythm lines and dramatic
breakdowns and buildups. Two mixes.

Bobina "Lazy World" Deepblue ENG 12 - A solid UK anthemic trance production
that uses a spoken male vocal in the breakdown and then builds the track
layer by layer until the energy level maxes out. Three mixes, all of the
angelic trance mentality, very nice production.

Mirco DeGovia "Voller Sterne" Euphonic GER 12 - Latest release from Mirco
DeGovia is a solid Dutch-style instrumental trance masterpiece with waves of
melodic synth orchestrations and solid rhythm lines. On the flip is an
excellent reworking by Super 8.

Dido "Sand In My Shoes" Cheeky ENG 12 Part 2 - Second set of mixes on the
latest single from Dido sees the smooth, summery original transformed into
solid bigroom productions with Above & Beyond providing an excellent
anthemic trance reworking and Filterheadz giving the track a slightly
darker, more progressive feel. Both mixes make full use of the vocal.

Chris Fortier "Losing Wait" FDS USA 12 - Smooth, seductive deep progressive
production with a light, flowing vocal sample worked into the production of
shuffly rhythm patterns and spacious synth swells. Include a pure
instrumental version on the flip.

Lange f/Kirsty Hawkshaw "Sincere For You" Lange ENG 12 - Former Opus 3
vocalist pairing with Lange on this massive new trance production with a
vocal that tears at the heartstrings supported by an intricate orchestration
of searing melodies and solid rhythm lines. On the flip Thrillseekers gild
the lily even further with their stunning interpretation.

Mr Groove & Vergas "Changing My Style" Plastic Fantastic ENG 12 - Plastic
Fantastic unleashing a dark, brooding chuggy progressive release with a
haunting female vocal hook worked into the deep, spacious production.

MYC "Rock" Aqualoop GER 12 - Bouncy lager-trance production with hooky
spoken male vocals over a driving blend of sharp, slightly acidic Teutonic
synth orchestrations and aggressive rhythm lines. Remixes come from
Pulsedriver and Cascada and all mixes will get the floor hopping.

Shauna Solomon "You Are" Baroque ENG 12 - Baroque exploring the boundary
between bigroom tribal and progressive with this dark, driving release that
features the vocal talents of Shauna Solomon who provides a seductive
performance that blends perfectly with the slightly deeper, darker mood of
the production. Also includes a purely instrumental version on the flip.
