Dave Armstrong "Out Of Time" Eyezcream FRA 12 - Following hot on the heels
of the Pointer Sisters' sampling "Make Your Move," this is a solid bigroom
vocal house cover of Hall & Oates with a hooky female full vocal and driving
rhythm lines. Excellent rework of a classic track. 10.49

Steve Angello "The Look" Distraekt ENG 12 - D Ramirez on the mix here with
this chunky, funky production with growling synth stabs, warbly rhythm lines
and some well-placed breathy vocalizations worked into the production.
Original mix on the flip is techier and bouncier with a slight Benassi feel
that works well with the vocal samples. 10.49

Avant Garde "Get Down 2004" Blanco Y Negro SPA 12 - classic late-90s house
cut gets the 2004 update on this Spanish release that features a solid
disco-house reworking with a touch of techiness and a festive Latin house
reworking, both making use of the "Get Down" vocal hook perfectly. Also
includes the now long-deleted original version. 10.49

Bat 67 "I Want You To Come" Subliminal USA 12 - Benny Benassi in alias here
with this pumpy techy house cut with the vocal hook of the title given a
computerized manipulation and worked into the production to maximum effect.
Energetic rhythm lies and aggressive synthwork blended perfectly to get the
floor jumping. Includes a dubbier version on the flip. 6.79

Ron Carroll "Come Together" Bumpin City ENG 12 - Inspirational vocal house
cut with funky house synth orchestrations and smooth, steady rhythm lines to
support the soulful male vocals. Includes a more energetic "Tribal Anthem"
mix that add a bit more punch and kick to the production. 10.49

Deepest Blue "Is It A Sin" Open ENG 12 - Third single for this popular UK
male vocalist features a solid house reworking by Cicada in a funky, summery
house production that fits the vocal perfectly. 10.49

Diva "What I Want" First Floor ENG 12 - Haunting, slightly techy house
production with a seductive female vocal over a flowing rhythm line and
slightly techy synthwork. Pick mix however is the Russo & Domydee mix who
integrates the vocal into a punchy darker, progressive-flavoured production.

Carey with the 2004 update on this classic disco-era tune giving the
hand-raising vocals the perfect platform to shine through with his

Flower Power "Flower Power" Oxyd ITA 12 - Hooky summertime instrumental
disco house cut from Italy with floating string samples giving the track a

Full Intention "Orange EP" Eye Industries ENG 12 - The latest in their color
series features two distinct sounds for the Full Intention crew as "Musique"
goes for the funky techy sound with a driving rhythm line and sharper
synthwork while "This Beat" is a classic disco-tinged vocal house cut with
hooky vocal samples worked into the shimmery, summery house orchestration.

Gotta f/Shiny "Never Give Up" Paradise FRA 12 - Solid, sedcutvie house
production with the Flowerz mix aimed for the bigrooms with its dark,
driving rhythm line, energetic house synthwork and hand-raising vocals. The
Shiny mix is deeper, funkier and saucier with the vocal resting over a
slightly more disco-oriented orchestration. 10.49

The Jackal "Clear Message" Sondos USA 12 - One of two Sondos releases this
week and this release features two techy-tribal hybrid productions with
driving rhythm lines and sharp, aggressive synth orchestrations. 6.79

J Sonic f/Abigail Bailey "Release The Pressure" Subliminal Soul USA 12 -
2Risque on the mix for this flamenco-guitar drenched summertime house cut
featuring a hand-raising female vocal hook of the title worked into the
memserizing production. Also includes an instrumental version. 6.79

Angelo Kortez "Drums" Tribal Spain SPA 12 - Two bouncy drum cuts from Spain
with hard-hitting rhythm lines, dark driving tribal synth orchestration and
an aggressive male spoken "Drums" hook worked into the production. Includes
a solid remix from Jesse Garcia on the flip. 10.49

Magnolia 'It's All In Vain" Data ENG 12 Part 1 Promo - Data getting gritty
and techy on this new promo which features a punkish female vocal over a
tough, punchy tech house orchestration provided by Innervision. Original
version is in the UK 2-step style that works well with the vocal. - 10.99

Meat Katie vs Elite Force "The Answer" Kingsize ENG 12 Part 1 and Part 2 -
Dark, driving progressive house with an underlying tech-house feel, this new
release by Meat Katie features a brooding spoken male vocal sample worked
into the production. Disc 1 also features a breakbeat mix by Force Mass
Motion. On disc 2, Santos goes for a punchy, aggressive tech house
interpretation that works perfectly with the vocal sample, while Elite Force
provide a solid breakbeat interpretation. 10.49

Mora e Nacarati "Action Mandingo" B-Side USA 12 - Bouncy NY-style tribal
house production with lots of aggressive rhythms and hard-hitting synth
stabs. On the flip "Bal Cat" includes a fun vocal discussion of the
importance of fellatio. 6.79

Murk "Time" Subversive ENG 12 Part 1 and Part 2 - The boys from Miami return
with a new single featuring a punkish male vocal worked into the production.
Disc one features the hooky, slightly progressive-oriented original mix and
a driving remix by Scumfrog while disc 2 features an excellent progressive
rework from Chab and the dark, seductive reworking from Peter Rauhofer for
the bigrooms. 10.49

Paul Richards "U Do 2 Me" Sondos USA 12 - Second of the Sondos releases for
this week is another hybrid tech house-tribal production that featues the
sexy vocal sample by Kelli Ali from Satoshi Tomiie's classic "Up In Flames"
that works perfectly with the orchestration. Includes a dubbier mix on the
flip. Excellent release from the Sondos camp. 6.79

Ralphi Rosario f/Suzanne Palmer "Remembering You" Casagrande SPA 12 - From
Spain comes this hooky retro-oriented houser featuring Ms. Palmer's
seductive vocals over an energetic, disco-tinged production perfect for the
rooms that love the classic house sound. E-Smoove offers his own chunkier,
funkier interpretation on the flip. 10.49

Rava "Hot Tin Groove" Label Blanc ITA 12 - Bouncy Italian tech house in the
Benassi style that pairs the aggressive synth lines and driving rhythms with
a saucy, seductive female vocal that balances perfectly with the production.
The Digitally Stoned People mix on the flip is a bit more minimal and deeper
in feel that works well with the hooks from the vocal worked into the
production. 10.49

Raw Deal "Party Time" Rambunctious USA 12 - Boisterous bigroom house cut
with energetic female vocals, driving rhythm lines and a hooky "Tonight It's
Party Time" sample worked into the production. 6.79

Shapeshifter "Lola's Theme" Positiva ENG 12 Promo - One of the big buzz
records in the UK at the moment is this sun-drenched disco-tinged vocal
house monster already tipped to be one of the early season essentials for
Ibiza. Warm synth orchestrations, hooky brass samples and a steady rhythm
line pair with the hands-in the air vocal perfectly. 10.99

Britney Spears "Everytime" Jive USA 12 - US edition of the latest single
from La Spears features the solid Scumfrog Remix as well as a massive
bigroom reworking from Dr Octavo that uses the full vocal and a radio edit
of the Valentin mix. 6.79

Sun Connection "Love Me Like A Flower" Pride ITA 12 - Vocal and instrumental
hooks from the Sheila B hit "Devotion" are the basis of this energetic
disco-flavoured house production from Italy that sets the perfect happy vibe
for the summer house season that will get the crowd jumping and singing
along to the samples. Includes a vocal version and a dub. 10.49

Togo "Chlorophyl" Link ITA 12 - Using samples of Michael Zager "Let's All
Chant" this is a solid Italian tribal house production with congas ablaze
and hooky synth stabs blended perfectly with the famous vocals from the
classic Zager track. Two mixes. 10.49

USA "Disco Remedy" 3345 BNX 12 - Funky disco house monster with several
different vocal hooks worked into the bouncy filtered production in a Junior
Jack or Olav Basoski style. Flipside cut is a bit heavier and darker in feel
but follows a similar formula. 10.49

Armand van Helden "Everytime I Feel It" Rise ITA 12 - New 2004 remixes of
this classic Armand van Helden cut with Richard Grey providing a bouncy,
slightly techy French house interpretation and Gaudino with the slightly
funkier, more disco-flavoured Italian house interpretation. Both feature the
hooky original vocals and the original mix is included as a bonus. 10.49

Trance & Progressive

Age Of Love "Age Of Love 2004" Reset BNX 12 - Yet more mixes, this time from
the Netherlands, to celebrate this classic trance track's tenth anniversary.
On this edition the mixes come from Marco V, who provides a surprisingly
restrained interpretation that fits the ethereal mood of the original
perfectly, and Mr Sam & Fred Baker. Also includes the long out of print
original "Watch Out For Stella" mix in its full glory. 10.49

Cyber X f/Jody Watley "Waves Of Love" Drizzly GER 12 - Vocal trance cut of
the week and Ms Watley's stunning anthem is given the perfect platform to
shine as Green Court provides the driving German melodic trance production
and Svenson & Gielen with a stunning Dutch-style orchestration that builds
from the breakdown into pure hands-in the air euphoria. Essential cut for
the vocal trance lover. 10.49

Deepest Blue "Is It A Sin" Open ENG 12 - Also appearing on the latest single
from this popular UK act is a solid trance rework by Antillas who integrate
hooks of the vocal into their bigroom melodic trance production. Excellent

DJ Wout "Mastermind" Insolent SPA 12 - Spanish edition of this Dutch release
featuring three solid Dutch anthemic instrumental production with a driving,
slightly techy edge. Standout mixes from Cor Fijneman and Mike Koglin who
both give the track tons of power and kick while preserving the overall
melodic beauty of the production. 10.49

Fluke "Slid 2004" Plastic Fantastic ENG 12 Promo - King Of Cool reworks this
classic release by Fluke into a dark, broody progressive house production
that fits perfectly with the spacy male vocal of the original. Includes both
full vocal and dub versions. 10.99

Pete Gawtry & Pablo La Rosa "Feels So Good" Tune Inn BNX 12 - Seductive
progressive cut with deep, flowing synth orchestrations and a smooth rhythm
line supporting a haunting female vocal chant to create a hypnotic, ethereal
production. Flipside "Stella" is a bit funkier and punchier in feel. 10.49

Hardy Heller vs Inkfish "Exorsistic" Tune Inn USA 12 - Steve Angello on the
mix for this dark, driving progressive cut. Angello gives the productione a
chunkier, techier feel with a rolling bassline supporting the spacious synth
swells and hooky spoken vocal sample worked into the production. Original
production on the flip is a darker, more hypnotic production with massive
synth swells and a pumpy rhythm line that works perfectly with the
vocalizations. 6.79

Magnolia 'It's All In Vain" Data ENG 12 Part 2 - The more commercial of the
two discs on this latest release from Data features a bouncy
progressive-trance hybrid Innervision Club Mix and a drving UK melodic hard
dance rework by Dogzilla that works perfectly with the punkish female
vocals. 10.49

MK-S "Illuminate" Trance Communications ENG 12 - Anthemic Instrumental
trance cut of the week full of stunning melodic orchestrations, dramatic
breakdowns and steady rhythms. Mind One provide a tougher, more energetic
remix on the flip that is pure angelic bliss. 10.49

ORN "Smalltown Boy" Sex On Wax ENG 12 - Spacious progressive house
interpreatation of the Bronski Beat classic that warps the original synth
line into a hypnotic, slightly haunting orchestration while covered vocal
hooks are worked into the production. Includes both vocal and instrumental
versions (the instrumental version is titled "The Decision") 10.49

Peace Division "Deeper" Junior ENG 12 - Classic dark, driving
tribal-progressive hybrid track sees the Junior label return to form as the
driving, funky rhythm lines and spacious synth stabs are paired with a

Stel & Good Newz "Fine Line" Baroque ENG 12 - Massive progressive house cut
with a stunning bigroom female vocal over the dark, driving instrumental
production to create the perfect balance of driving energy and floating
coolness that is becoming quite popular in the UK. Remix by Nick & John
Dalagelis gives a slightly more melodic feel to the synthline. Stunning.

track that helped to launch Armin's career as a producer back in the late

Sander van Doorn "Punk'd" Oyxgen BNX 12 - Chunky energetic progressive house
production with a techy edge and a male spoken vocal hook of the title
worked into the production. Two mixes, both driving productions for the

V Lock "Birth Of Light" Soundpiercing BNX 12 - Haunting vocal trance
production from Vincent De Moor featuring an ethereal female vocal over the
smooth, seductive melodic orchestration perfect for the warm summer

Woodshock "Tulips & Chocolate" ID&T BNX 12 - Solid bigroom production from
the combined efforts of Marcel Woods and SHOKK with driving rhythm lines and
massive melodic orchestrations. Includes a stunning remix by G&M Project
