I record my vynil records to MP3 going from my turntable to my amp and ten
to the line in of my PC. The volume control for recording from the line in
is betwee the 5th and 6th line (counting from the bottom).

Does that sound aout right to you guys?

Unless you are a bedroom Dj, using a hifi amp that has the pre amp built in,
it sounds like you are about to blow something up... Turntables to amp?
Turntables to mxr then PC is what you should be doing. Otherwise you will
end up frying your sound card

Which he obviously is and utilising a better pre-amp than most dj mixers
can provide.....

Yes - as it's clearly a hi-fi amp and he's taking the signal off of a
