What to buy?

Hi there,
I've been riddling myself for quite some time what to buy next for my music-setup. Right now I'm using NI Komplete, MacBook Pro and an APC 40. What I'm looking for now is a sort of sequencer/drumsynthesizer. However hardware should be included since im tired of "mouse-producing". Therefore I was thinking maschine but I've heard so many different opinions about it that I'm never quite sure if that's what I want. The iPad also offers a wide variety of apps that could help my workflow.
For my Beat-Production I mainly use Battery 3 at the moment but the samples are getting "boring". It's time for new one's and I was also wondering in how far maschine's library overlaps with battery 3's?

Another factor about Maschine is, that it seems to me to be a production tool primarly for hip-hop producers. I make Techno/Minimal/House music and of course there are probably sound shaping possibilities with maschine to be able to produce any genre with it, but still I think certain controllers/instruments have better workflows for different genres.

if anyone could give me some pointers or any help at all I'd be very thankful.

My Budget is 600$.
